Everything You Need to Feel at Home Outdoors

Unwind in peaceful surroundings with access to scenic nature trails, modern shower facilities, and the simple joy of outdoor living

A Simple Escape in the Heart of Brittany

Welcome to Les Vieilles Forges, a peaceful, family-run campsite nestled at the edge of the Forêt de Coat-an-Noz—a tranquil stretch of woodland in the heart of Brittany. Just five minutes from the charming town of Belle-Isle-en-Terre and only half an hour from the beautiful coastline, our site offers the perfect balance of nature, simplicity, and accessibility.

Here, you won’t find loud entertainment or crowded pitches. Instead, you’ll find space to breathe, room to roam, and the gentle soundtrack of birdsong and rustling leaves. Whether you’re a family, a couple, a solo traveler, or a digital nomad in need of stillness, this is your place to pause.

Set beside the Le Guic river, one of the cleanest in France, our location is a dream for those who love fishing, wildlife watching, or simply sitting quietly by the water’s edge. The nearby protected wetland offers glimpses of otters and kingfishers for those who take their time.

Grass pitches are spacious, and many are tucked under the trees, with access to everything you need and nothing you don’t: clean showers, toilets, a washing-up area, and disabled facilities. There's a welcoming bar just a 10-minute walk away and easy access to shops, bakeries, and services in the nearby village.

With the N12 less than 10 minutes away, exploring the coast, nearby forests, or historic towns is easy—but you might find that once you arrive, you don’t want to leave.
